Young people today are searching for what is real and what works in their lives. They are moving from childhood to adulthood. Some have already started a friendship with Jesus but lack a mentor to disciple them in their relationship with Christ, while others have never heard of Christ. Around the world, there is a tremendous need for full-time youth workers, who have a deep desire to see young people develop in their walk with Jesus. In many circumstances, creativity is needed to find ways to make connections and build relationships with young people. We need people who know how to work with teenagers and youth, to share the Gospel with them and encourage them in their walk with the Lord!
As Church Planting group in Lushnje area we are focusing on the villages around the town, because most of them don’t have any Christian fellowship group. Only in 7 villages there is a fellowship group or small and young church. We are helping in planting churches.
The churches in town also don’t have enough workers as many Albanians leave the country in search for a better future. The churches are also affected by this issue. We get so often requests for youth workers. There is a great need for both boys and girls and could be a great opportunity for a couple who is called to youth work but doesn't disqualify singles from joining this important ministry. As a youth worker you would work with one or multiple village churches to help mentor and disciple their youth and also reach out to more young people.
