Ministry details

OM has a vision to establish vibrant communities of Jesus followers in Spain. Spain is a beautiful country with great spiritual needs.  It is estimated that 10 million people in Spain live in communities without any evangelical presence.  Many people don’t even have the opportunity to meet someone who follows Jesus.

Spain is a traditionally Catholic country. Around 68 per cent of the population identify as Catholic, yet only 14 per cent regularly attend Mass.  Evangelical Christians, of which two-thirds are immigrants, count for around one per cent of the population.  This makes Spain one of the least reached countries in Europe.

This position is to be part of the REACH team.
REACH Spain is carried out through an intense residential discipleship training experience focused on spiritual formation, understanding and becoming part of God's mission and being equipped to reach the least reached.

It will take place for 18 weeks from February to June of each year, but during the year work is being done to prepare a large part of the materials and missionary practices.

The training will take place in different parts of Spain but the base is in Algeciras, Cádiz.

The practices will be carried out together with the OM Spain teams distributed in strategic places to fulfill the mission of reaching more Spaniards and immigrants through evangelism and discipleship.

We welcome singles, couples and families with the following attributes:
- A passion to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least-reached in Spain.
- A good level of the Spanish or English language and a strong commitment to learn English or Spanish.

- Problem-solving aptitude.

- Able to work with deadlines or under pressure
