Singapore is home to many diaspora communities from Asia, many whom do not know the gospel. Join us as God's hands and feet to share His love with least-reached communities in Singapore.

Ministry details

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage the least‑reached communities in Geylang through befriending, discipleship, and intercession, fostering authentic relationships and spiritual transformation.
• Execution and development of ministry activities (e.g. Prayer walk, migrants and Red-Light District outreaches).
• Coordinate and empower volunteers, providing guidance, training, and opportunities for growth to build a committed and effective ministry team.
• Cultivate networks and partnerships with local churches, organizations, and community partners to strengthen collaboration and expand the ministry’s reach.


Other Responsibilities:

• Contribute to other functions for OM Singapore (e.g. OM events, church engagements, mission workshops etc.)
• Team Commitments (e.g. Devotions, Team Duties, Team Events etc.)


The following are an integral part of each job description for everybody serving with OM:

• Ministry involvement: Ensure you are actively involved in team life when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to.
• Actively participate on a regular basis in prayer times and social functions.
• Seek to be an encouragement to your fellow team members.
• Support base development: Actively develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for your ministry with OM in order to resource your ministry and that of OM Singapore with prayer and financial resources.


Job Requirements and Competencies:

• As OM Singapore is a faith-based, non-profitable mission organisation, kindly note this is a support-raising position.
• This position is for Singapore-based applicants only.
• A committed Jesus follower with a heart for global missions and a desire to see the local Church mobilised to reach the nations.
• Passion for befriending and engaging with least-reached communities in Singapore, especially those in Geylang area.
• Skillsets in active listening and interviewing, building and managing relationships, problem solving, negotiation, ability to relate to people of all levels and background.
• Adaptable to cross-cultural environments, team player.
• Conversant in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
• Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates with longer relevant ministry experience and demonstrated competencies will be highly valued.
