Description
France is home to over 113 different people groups, 37 of whom remain “unreached”. Come and join us to establishing ways to reach the unreached!
Ministry details
The vast majority of France’s least-reached people groups are generally located in and around Paris. Nine out of the top 10 of these by population are traditionally Muslim.
We currently have a small team reaching out to some of these people groups through evangelism and literature distribution. We are hoping and praying for ways to connect and build relationships with those who are truly seeking with the hope of seeing communities of believers established.
Would you come and be part of this team? We are looking for committed team members who love God and are passionate about serving Him with their gifts and skills, and able to serve in other ways too!
Key criteria:
• Have a heart for immigrants and people of different backgrounds and faiths. Being able to speak a language of one of these people groups or have had experience in these countries is beneficial but not required.
• Committed to reaching the least reached and making disciples
• Seeing every interaction with my neighbours from other faith backgrounds as part of ministry.
• Intermediate French is strongly desired, but not required on arrival, as long you are willing to make learning French part of the role during the first year. French is the team language and basic French is necessary for life outside the office.
• English is necessary to communicate with the wider OM world and share ideas across fields.
• Teachable and ready to learn how things work in the French context
• Be able to work well in an international team
• Be willing to serve within the wider OM team in France in the team’s big picture work to reach the people in France.
• Be based in the Eastern-Paris region, but possibly travel to other parts of the country
Spiritual Requirements
• To be growing in your relationship with God
• To love God and people as yourself.
• Be passionate about discipleship
• Willing to grow spiritually in community
• Accept to have a mentor (could be someone outside or OM)
