Ministry details

Key Responsiblities:

Branding & Marketing
• Steward OM Singapore’s brand in alignment with OM International, ensuring clear, consistent, and Christ-centred communication.
• Plan and execute integrated marketing efforts across digital, print, and relational channels to inspire engagement.
• Track campaign performance and apply insights to improve effectiveness and resource stewardship.

Content & Audience Engagement
• Produce compelling, mission-focused content that informs, inspires, and invites response (pray, give, go).
• Manage content calendars, evergreen resources, and targeted messaging for diverse audiences.
• Design and implement communications campaigns for mobilisation, fundraising, and partnerships.
• Maintain audience and partner databases to support personalised and strategic engagement.

Internal & Global Collaboration
• Coordinate communications across OM Singapore departments and contribute to global OM storytelling.
• Equip staff and representatives with tools and guidance for effective communication.
• Maintain accurate country information and relevant media assets on OM International platforms.

Communication Security
• Ensure all communications comply with OM security guidelines, protecting personnel and ministries.
• Review field communications for cultural sensitivity and security risks.
• Train staff and workers in secure communication practices.

Crisis Communication
• Support crisis preparedness and response in alignment with OM International guidelines.
• Implement the crisis communication plan and assist designated spokespeople with approved messaging.
• Monitor and respond appropriately to media and digital platforms during crises.

Other Responsibilities:

• Contribute to other functions for OM Singapore (e.g. OM events, church engagements, mission workshops etc.)
• Team Commitments (e.g. Devotions, Team Duties, Team Events etc.)
• Involvement in the local ministry of OM Singapore, where possible.

• Be actively involved in team life and ministry when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to.
• Actively participate on a regular basis in prayer times and social functions.
• Seek to be an encouragement to your fellow team members.
• Work in accordance with verbal and written communicated safety and environmental regulations and understand and know the risks and risk assessments related to your role and duties.
• Actively develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for your ministry with OM in order to resource your ministry and that of OM Singapore with prayer and financial resources.


Job Requirements and Competencies:

• As OM Singapore is a faith-based, non-profitable mission organisation, kindly note this is a support-raising position.
• This position is preferably for Singapore-based applicants.
• A committed Jesus follower with a heart for global missions and a desire to see the local Church mobilised to reach the nations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability and willingness to work in cross-cultural environments.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken), with strong storytelling and communication abilities across diverse audiences and platforms.
• Able to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, or a related field, OR at least 1 year of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or content creation.
• Portfolio demonstrating writing and/or design work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut).
• Familiar with social media platforms (especially Instagram and Facebook).
• Basic understanding of content management systems (e.g. MailerLite), SEO, analytics, and digital marketing principles.
• Experience in non-profit, missions, or church environments is an advantage.
