Description
As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
Ministry details
OM Colombia is seeking a Finance Officer to support financial management in the field. This role is key to registering, analyzing, and reporting financial information, contributing to decision-making and ensuring proper accountability.
Experience in financial management, accounting, and budgets.
Knowledge of and proficiency with computer tools, such as Microsoft Excel or financial management software.
Ability to analyze financial information and produce clear, actionable reports to support effective decision-making.
Languages: Spanish: fluent; basic English or willingness to improve it.
Willingness to actively engage in the ministries and vision of OM Colombia.
A personal and active relationship with Jesus, aligned with the mission and values of OM.
High sense of integrity, confidentiality, and responsibility.
