Ministry details
You'll have an early childhood, elementary (primary) or secondary teaching qualification, and a heart to disciple teachers. You'll be willing to spend time immersing yourself in both the school and local culture. We'd prefer some teaching experience, but recent graduates are also welcome. Experience in teaching literacy would be an advantage, but not mandatory. This opportunity is in the Africa Area (Zambia, Lake T, Tanzania, Malawi, Ghana)
Purpose
Take that teaching degree and invest in the lives of missionary teachers around the Africa Area. Whether you're a recent/near graduate or come with a lifetime of experience, whatever discipline you teach, our teachers are waiting for you! You'll play a vital role in the equipping of the teachers for ministry in their local contexts, helping them teach with excellence and build core teaching skills through coaching and training. We're looking for teachers who are learners too, as you step out of your comfort zone and experience life in a unique culture.
