A ten day project to conceptualise and paint a mural in Taiwan, in partnership with local ministry workers and the community they serve.
Ministry details
Taiwan’s mountainous regions are rich and diverse with tribal communities. You will be serving in Nanzhuang township in Miaoli County, where local long-term ministry workers are committed to seeing the peace of Jesus bridging cultural divides. The process of painting the mural will see opportunities for local connection and friendship, enabling the local ministry to flourish long after the mural is completed.
Purpose
Painting a mural in community to facilitate relationships and gospel ministry in the mountains of Taiwan.
Participant profile
We are looking for skilled visual artists, particularly with experience in painting murals outdoors together with a local community. We are also looking for an ethnodoxologist who can assist in guiding the artists to communicate God's love in a biblical, relevant and vibrant way. All participants are expected to participate in pre-trip training and preparation before travel. The artistic qualifications of all applicants will be assessed prior to acceptance by Inspiro.
