Church Planting Experience

Description

You can be part of our church planting project in Panama, sharing the Gospel with Hindus, Muslims, Asians and indigenous communities.

Ministry details

The Church Planting project has so many initiatives; we are using the arts, sports, and personal development strategies to reach different communities with the Gospel. Participate in children's programs, prayer night, prayer walk, sports, and arts training. Panama has an estimated population of about 5 million people. 68.3% reside in urban areas, 31.7% in rural areas, and 6.3% in indigenous areas. The Asian population is growing rapidly in Panama, and there is very little focus on reaching them with the gospel. The same challenge we have among the Indigenous communities, there are about 600 thousand people, which consists of seven different indigenous groups, since most of the population lives upon the hillside or in the country and will have to cross rivers by boat, not many are interested in reaching them with the gospel. You will have the opportunity to share the gospel in schools, towns, streets, hills, mangrove swamps, and in Urban areas. This outreach offers different ministries opportunities. The participant will serve mainly with the local church and the church members. Ministering to the Hindus and Muslims: During your time in Panama, you will be able to receive a workshop of how to share the gospel with the Hindus, Muslims and you will be able to visit various religious centers as part of the workshop and get some exposure to it. You will have the opportunity to meet with Hindus and Muslims and share the gospel with them.
